How to pole, stretch and stay healthy for many years without injuries.

Always do your warm up. You can switch it now and then, make some changes or keep the same one - but you ALWAYS ALWAYS do it.

Lots of injuries we all have had were because we didn’t do enough warm up movements or didn’t do it at all.

I’ve got one injury in my elbow because I was rushed on the stage, i was supposed to perform and i just started warming up but got called only 5 min after I begun stretching and moving.

 

Now I won’t go performing until I’m perfectly warmed up but at that time I didn’t have this mindset, if someone said i need to go - i needed to go. So I went and did a Jade drop from 4/5 meters hight being completely cold. Because I was cold I didn’t have any grip with the pole and instead of catching myself just 10-20cm before the floor like I always did - I fell, crushed all the way down because my skin didn’t have any connection with pole.

Use your core. Very common mistake for so many people is to only do passive stretches.

Where you don’t engage any muscle and just push your body deeper and deeper.

Engaging your core will save you from so many injuries. Soooo use your muscles 💪❤️

 

Prepare your body for the tricks you want to learn.

Another mistake I see is lots of people want to learn super fast without properly exercising and working on the muscles they need to be able to do certain pole tricks.

 

When you chose what you want to learn, find what muscles will you use for this or that move.

Start working out. Build the strength. Work with your core.

Again this will help you to avoid so many common shoulder injuries etc.
