Bored from your warm up? Try this amazing & super easy tip.
Mar 20, 2023If you feel like your warm up is boring - I feel you, I’ve been there and I have a tip for you.
Sometimes the most difficult thing in the whole training is to warm up.
So to make it more fun and exciting for you try this:
Add Movement to every exercise you do.
Add waves, rotations, flow.
Try to reverse some of the waves and do them opposite direction. Imagine that you are in the water, how would you move there?
There is no rules. No movement is silly or stupid. If you want to move diagonal - do it, you want to move with shoulder rolls or head waves - do it.
Explore slowly every direction.
You do downward facing dog ? Try to move there, add the wave, or twist, or maybe lift one leg up and then twist and then add the wave...
Truly anything you want.
Next time you train - I urge you to explore. AAAND DONT JUDGE YOUR MOVEMENT
Feel and be free to go any direction you want and see how your body reacts to that.
This way every warm up will be different. If you play your favorite music it will make it even more enjoyable. You will become more mobile because of these movements and will be looking forward to do them because they are fun and good for you.
